How to enquire
Your first session at Maltby Diving Club is free, why not come along and see if you like it.
There is a waiting list for some of our sessions, and some session times are more popular than others, please complete this enquiry form and we will be in touch as soon as a space is available.
About your first session
Lessons take place at Maltby Leisure Centre, High Street, Maltby, S66 8JE.
At least one of the coaches will be in reception prior to the session to welcome you and show you where to go.
You will just need to bring a swimming costume (a one piece is advisable for females) no earplugs or hats are required and for safety reasons you won’t be able to wear goggles.
The session will start with a short poolside warm up and swim check, then you will be put in a group with similar abilities with a coach for the rest of the session. Starting with basics (jumps and simple dives) and building your skills at your own pace with some positive encouragement and guidance from your coach.
Signing up to the club
If you wish to continue after the free session the price will be £42 for a 6 week block of consecutive lessons. You will also need to complete your membership form which includes agreeing to the relevant code of conduct.
After 3 weeks you will be required to be a member of Swim England for insurance purposes, if you are already a member please let us know so we can dual register you. If you are not yet a member a fee of £20 will be required to register you for the remainder of the year, and then will need to be paid every December to re register you for the following year.
