CAN YOU HELP?
WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN INDEPENDANT WELFARE OFFICER
As part of our commitment to Wavepower we are looking for an independent person to act as our Welfare Officer. We need someone who isn’t personally linked to any of the coaching team or any of the committee members and can therefore be impartial. The role description is can be found here however Katy is happy to share this role but is unable to be completely independent due to her role as a coach therefore we would ask that as a minimum you pick up the items in blue. We will also support you to attend a Swim England Safeguarding CPD and a Time to Listen course. You will also get support from Swim England.
If you are interested in this or know somebody who might be please let one of the coaches know. Also if you aren’t interested in this role but would like to help the club in some way please have a chat to one of the coaches as any help would be gratefully accepted.
